Tip of the Week:

  • Draw attention to a specific part of the screen during screensharing and webinars by pressing the control-key (pc). This briefly displays a circle at the location of your mouse pointer.

Set up is similar (but probably a little different) on each computer.  For Windows 7:

  • Click to open the Start Menu
  • Select the Control Panel
  • Select Hardware and Sound
  • Select Mouse
  • There are tabs at the top of the dialogue box; select Pointer Options
  • At the bottom of the dialogue box is a check box for “show location of pointer when I press control”. Check this option and click Done.

Now each time you press the control-key a circle briefly displays around your mouse pointer.
