I had an opportunity to listen to a CEO – who’s himself very passionate about L&D – talk about it. Here is a summary of that CLOs, L&D Professionals – Here’s The Message From CEO . Hope you find this interesting.
Nice article, Amit! Bhavdeep Singh raised some great points in his talk. Understand the business – share the pain/joy – think like a business person – be action-oriented – have courage/conviction, these are each so important. Am glad to see there was some focus not just on training “sessions” but on planning for training and learning in other ways as well; the longer I’m in this field, the greater need I also see for more informal learning in the workplace.
